No vassals.Ī skilled fighter and commander. Lord Franklyn Fowler, the Old Hawk, of Prince's Pass, age 41. Has a claim on northern realm, to complete Red Mountains. Lord Ulrick Dayne the First, of Red Mountains, age 59, One vassal. Sister is married to the Lord of the Iron Islands, Balon Greyjoy. Two vassals.Ī skilled steward and scholar. Lord Reaver Rodrik Harlaw the First of Harlaw, age 25. Is married with TWELVE daughters and three sons. Two vassals.Īn able commander and fighter, though craven. Lord Reaver Gorold Goodbrother the First of Great Wyk, age 34. Also, your liege's dynasty is incredibly bad, so the realm can be thrown in disarray at some point, providing some entertainment and opportunity for climbing the social ladder. Runestone starts with very mixed up domains, not matching its de jure claims, so there can be some fighting. If you want to plays as someone lower than a King, I recommend High Lordship of Runestone in The Vale. If you want to play as a King, I recommend The Reach, or Dorne - both have their strong points and their weaknesses, and are fairly beginner friendly in both scenarios. You could have a fun game as a Duke(High Lord), if you pick the right one, but playing as a Count(Lord) is going to be extremely uneventful. If you are determined to go through with playing the GoT mod, one thing to keep in mind is that presently, both historical scenarios are balanced around the players being Kings(or Lords Paramount in the mod).

GAME OF THRONES CRUSADER KINGS MOD
The mod is going to be an overall harder game than the vanilla setting. The mod is also made by some CK2 veterans, so a lot of options that normaly slightly favour the player are gone. It is less actively punishing and the mechanics more intuitive than those in the mod.Īnother thing I would recomend is waiting - the mod is a 0.11 version, and it shows. Ok, one thing first - if you have not played the game natively, do so.
